Brown County State Park campgrounds offer primitive camping, campsites with & without electric, full hookups and horsemans camping. There is a camp store in the park. Pets are permitted at campsites, however they must be on a leash of 6 feet or less and tended to at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets at their campsite and in all other areas of the property. Each site has one picnic table and parking for one vehicle. Alcohol is not allowed in the park. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am. RULES change, so check them when you arrive.

A new firewood policy has been implemented on all DNR properties to manage and conserve forest resources. This policy is not only related to preventing the emerald ash borer - it is about preventing the 140+ OTHER insects, fungi and pathogens that are known to travel in and on firewood. PLEASE, do your part to conserve the forests and shade trees in state parks, reservoirs, state forests and fish and wildlife areas.
